Welcome
Church Army in Canada celebrates its 80th year in 2009. We look back with gratitude for those who courageously pioneered this movement. They were marked as people of ‘grit and grace’, ready to roll up their sleeves and serve with dedication, delight and determination.
Today, the marks on our evangelists demand just as much grit and grace, as they serve with:
- Sincerity: truly believing the message they are sharing
- Availability: willing to take that message any where the doors may open
- Transparency: there is no hidden agenda. Nothing to hide. It is all about the difference Jesus Christ can make.
- Accountability: serving in relationship to others
In this 80th year, Church Army evangelists can be found in nine provinces and all three territories, each empowered with a dream, believing that ‘tomorrow does not have to be like today’ for those who are living without hope. The Good News is still good news!
The Scriptures call us to ‘hold on in faith’ while we ‘hold out’ hope for others. We value your prayerful support as we find ways to share the greatest news that ever came into our world – the only news that truly makes sense and gives meaning to life.
